In New Mexico in 1989, I started my first restaurant.  Intertwining New Mexican staples with all-American favorites, I set up a menu full of homemade, from-scratch items guaranteed to make you feel at-home and leave the table full.

Over the years, I took many journeys through the Rocky Mountains, and one day, I stopped and decided to make Colorado my new home.  After 21 years of business and a change of scenery, my vision remains the same.  Your life is busy and your time, precious.

Doug’s Day Diner is a place for the regulars and newcomers alike.  It’s not home, it’s not work; it’s your ‘third place,’ where you’re taken care of.  I welcome you to visit and make our food a part of your tradition.
